I will be posting up more frequently as the fall hunting season progresses.
I will post pictures and try to capture our outdoor adventures in my current reports.

I would like to offer a great big welcome to all my friends and family as well as any and all new comers.
with one full season of fishing and renting fish houses to many great fisherman and women, I can say it sure was one heck of a ride.
I really need to thank Rick and Kim and all the staff at HIGHBANKS RESORT
This season would have been very difficult without them.
Their help on the lake and in the shop was greatly appreicated.
Make sure to keep them in mind for your summer vacation needs as well
this winter brought us more snow, wind and cold temperatures than I can recall us having for some time.
I don't know, maybe we're just spoiled with all the mild winters we have had over the past dozen or so years.
It kinda reminded me of when we were kids.
I would like also to say thanks again to my son Dan whom many of you met. he was my wingman for many of these past long winter weekends.
he helped me move houses, fix heaters, check on guests and tend to their needs.
He was a big part of the reason this season was a big success.

I have had calls about reservations for this next season already and for that I am thankful as well as excited for the next ice season.
I will not be taking deposits for next season until some time around thanksgiving.
I can however take your name and pencil it in if you have a particular weekend that you would like to come and stay with us.
I am hoping to add a couple more sleeper houses to my fleet.
I may do away with the day houses, as the call was greatly for sleepers.
I can rent out sleeper houses for day use if they are available though so don't think your only option is to sleep over.
If any of you who stayed with us have pictures you would like to mail me, if you have not already, please do so and I will add them to the photo page.
